As a real estate agent, yes of course I work from home from time to time. But, nothing compares to being in the office. And, in the midst of this pandemic, so many are experiencing that “office withdrawal” syndrome.

Believe it or not, major corporations such as Facebook have already told employees that they can eternally have a work-from-home option. And, chances are, there will be some small companies that give the same options. We just won’t hear about them more than likely on major news networks.
Here’s the thing – working from home literally got thrown at every single one of us – hard. We had really not much time to process what was happening. And, if you’re the parent of children – you have another nightmare that falls into this entire whirlwind – trying to keep your kids occupied with online school.
FlexJobs recently surveyed about 4,000 people who are currently working remotely – and 65% of them would like to continue working remote once the pandemic is over. There’s going to more than likely be a foundation for working from home, probably an experience that multiple employers are going to stick with and provide those options. We all just have to wait and see what’s going to happen. If that option does continue to coexist, it will feel much more natural, Besides, think about it – do you really want to give up those “middle of the day Starbucks runs”? Yeah, I don’t want to either!
