What’s In Your Library?

Here in Greenville, the library is one place where you can head and learn about just about anything. Of course, any library is like that, but here are some of the cool features we have:

The Greenville County Library System essentially runs 12 libraries in our county (pretty neat when you think about that). And, they offer free events like storytime for children or anime nights for teens. Check out the kids’ event calendar or the teen calendar for more ways to get the family involved.

Prefer something virtual? Not a problem because they have you covered there as well. You can check out the virtual activities + takeout kits for both children and teens.

Here’s one of my favorite parts – the Hughes Main Library has a whole separate room known as the
“South Carolina Room” where you can research your family tree!

And, you can use the library’s resources to file your taxes, attend art exhibits, check out hobbies through their hobby database and even check out historical images.

So, our local library can do much more than you probably really imagined. What’s in your library?
