Take A Hike – And I Mean Literally

Looking for a getaway? Now that it’s getting warmer, that idea of fresh air just seems more and more important.

Therefore, I bring you a place you may have never even heard of before – Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge.

The neat thing with this wildlife refuge is that it’s only accessible by boat. Yes, you read that right! You can ONLY get to this wildlife refuge by boat!

It extends 22 miles down the South Carolina coast, and is home to over 290 species of birds – not including other wildlife.

There are also several historical sites – for all you history buffs ? You can see all the historical sites and more information on this wildlife refuge here!

This really looks like a nice place to just simply sit back, relax, enjoy nature and really take a moment to get away from all of the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
