Like driving in the fast lane. Well, several South Carolina lawmakers are working to change that by proposing laws that will allow police officers to pull over fast lane drivers if they are driving too slowly in the left lane on major roads. If this surprises you then take note of this fact, North and South Carolina are the only southern states without this type of legislature. There are a House bill and a Senate bill being worked that will basically propose the same thing. The house bill has a fine of $200 plus two points assessed on your license where the senate bill has a fine of $100 and no points assessed on your license. The Senate Transportation Committee has already voted unanimously to pass the bill. The House bill has not yet gone to the committee.
