Hugs for Hounds is an organization devoted to rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of unwanted/uncared for Giant Breed Dogs and All Breed Puppies.

Greenville Literacy Association

The Greenville Literacy Association provides quality adult education in a flexible and comfortable environment. It is our goal to provide affordable and effective help for all people – no matter what your income or education level. Greenville Literacy Association’s mission is to enrich our community by increasing the literacy and employability of our citizens.

SAFE Homes – Rape Crisis Coalition

SAFE Home – Rape Crisis serves Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties, giving help, support, and emergency shelter to victims of rape and domestic violence and their children. Our organization has several open volunteer opportunities ranging from crisis line operators to thrift store volunteers. Things To Do Around Greenville!

$100,000. That’s how much Greenville Women Giving awarded to Conestee Nature Preserve to support the buildout of the preserve’s Nature Playscape. The “playground without playground equipment” will be designed for children to interact with nature. The grant will cover 50% of the playscape project. ?

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate welcomes its newest exhibit, “Wheels on the Ground” on Sat., June 4. The exhibit, which covers 2,000 sqft on the main floor, will provide children with an opportunity to interact with the auto racing + automotive industry, with sections like a pit crew station.
