You’re probably at least a little like me – you head into a hardware store, maybe even Walmart, and just stare at all the colors of paint. Which one do I get? Which one is going to look best in my kitchen? My living room? My bedroom?
I’m going to give you a breakthrough idea on how to pick the perfect color. Well, maybe not a breakthrough, but work with me here on this one ?
In the beginning of your paint search process, don’t settle on just one color. Yes, I’m well-aware that sounds really strange, but pick several different colors. Even different shades of the same color. Then, purchase samples of those colors.
Paint a circle or line on the wall of the room you’re going to paint. Let it dry, and wait. Look at it during different times of the day and night. Of course, the light in that room is going to change throughout the day, so what looks yellow right now might look like French’s mustard tonight. And maybe you don’t want French’s mustard on your walls.
Again, see what it looks like at all different times of the day. When you love it no matter what time of day it is – you’ve found your color!
Now, head back to the store and buy your paint! Happy painting!

Snow!
You may think I’m over exaggerating, but even though we live here in Greenville and our surrounding areas, we should still be prepared in case we are all affected by a snow storm.
