Greenville jumped. Due mostly to a new marketing campaign released by the
Greenville Visitors Bureau, inquiries were up 23%. But that’s not all,
restaurant sales are at +.7%, retail sales are at +5.1%, hospitality tax paid
at +.7% and hotel taxes paid at +23.7%. Greenville is beating the South
Atlantic Region, the state of South Carolina and the U.S. by 63% in overall
hotel occupancy so far this year. So keep up the good work Greenville, invite
your out of town friends and family and show them what a great city we live in!
