Notable Events in Greenville SC for January 2017

Welcome to 2017! Here are some events happening in and
around Greenville SC for the month of January.

  • Greenville Remodeling Expo from Jan 13th-15th
    at the TD Convention Center. Times Fri 2-7pm, Sat 10am – 7pm, Sun 11am-5pm.
    Admission: Adults $5, Children under 18 FREE. This comprehensive and expansive
    home show brings together homeowners and many of the most knowledgeable and
    experienced remodeling and building experts.
  • Restaurant Week from Jan 12th to Jan 22nd at
    Lunch and Dinner hours. This is an 11-day celebration at participating
    restaurants in South Carolina. Everything from fine dining to casual dining.
    Each restaurant will provide special menu items.
  • Eleanor Roosevelt Chautauqua Talk on Jan 17th
    from 7-8:30pm at the Hughes Main Library. Join an audience that loves to talk
    back to history led by Dr. Judith Prince whose life’s work has been inspired by
    Eleanor Roosevelt.
  • Jukebox Heroes

    starting Jan 19th at Centre
    Stage. Times Thu-Sat 8pm, Sun 3pm. Admission: $35, $30, $15. Runs through Feb
    11th. Our Annual Hit Rock Show! It’s back, and it’s better than ever! You’ll be
    dancing in the aisles and humming along to the greatest singer songwriters of
    the past.

  • South Carolina International Auto Show on Jan
    20th to Jan 22nd at the TD Convention Center. Times Fri & Sat 10am-9pm. Sun
    10am-5pm. Prices: $8/adults, $5/seniors(62+), FREE kids under 12.
  • Greenville Swamp Rabbits will be playing all
    month. Check our link for dates/times. Game times vary. Games take place at Bon
    Secours Wellness Arena.
  • Ice Breaker 8K
    greenville dirt series

    on Jan 21st at 9am at Conestee
    Park. The Greenville Dirt Series is a collection of 7 trail races over 11
    months at 3 different parks crowning one champion. The races cover distances
    from 5k to 16k. They are designed to test running skill and display some of the
    most beautiful parks in the Upstate. Check link for dates/times and
    registration.

  • In the Company of Great Romantics Jan 28th and
    29th at The Peace Center. Times Sat 8pm, Sun 3 pm. Tickets: $18-$69. Romance is
    in the air with Weber’s brilliant Overture to “Oberon and Schumann’s beautiful
    Fourth Symphony complemented by rising star Edisher Savitski’s dazzling
    performance.
  • Monster JamⓇ will be performing at Bon Secours
    Wellness Arena on: Friday, January 27, 7:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 1:00 PM
    & 7:00PM. The event will feature 6 trucks and drivers vying to be the
    Upstate S.C. champion including: Grave Digger, Monster Mutt, Bad News Travels
    Fast, Aftershock, Krazy Train, and Mechanical Mischief. Featured trucks may
    change without notice.
  • Prince Caspian at the Academy of Arts Logos Theatre
    through Jan 21st. Times are Tue & Thu 11:30am, Fri 7pm, Sat 2pm. Check link
    to website for prices. For fans of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe this is
    a must see!
